The price of CPP Transparent Film (25 Micron Grade) remained unchanged in the Delhi plastics raw material market, according to data from Indian Petrochem analysts. On August 6, 2025, the film was trading at Rs.149/kg, and the same price continued on August 7, 2025, reflecting no movement in market levels for this grade. Market participants noted that the demand from flexible packaging and lamination industries remained steady, but not strong enough to trigger any upward push in prices. Dealers and traders cited stable buying behavior as one of the primary reasons behind the unchanged rates. According to Indianpetrochem, the market continues to operate under balanced supply and demand dynamics, keeping price volatility in check. The pricing stability also comes amid consistent availability of material from both local and imported sources. There have been no major changes in freight charges or raw material costs, particularly polypropylene, which is a key input in CPP production. This has contributed to the prevailing rate holding firm. Domestic Producer Activity: Indian manufacturers such as Jindal Poly Films, UFLEX, and Cosmo Films have been maintaining their regular supply schedules in the Delhi region. Their consistent production output and controlled inventory levels have helped stabilize the local CPP market. Traders say that buyers are currently placing orders only based on immediate requirements, avoiding bulk purchasing in anticipation of no major price fluctuations. As per Indian Petrochem analysts, domestic producers are also keeping an eye on upstream raw material trends and packaging demand cycles to align production and pricing strategies. International Supplier Trends: From the global market side, CPP film exporters from South Korea, Thailand, and China have also kept their export quotations mostly unchanged. There has been no significant movement in international freight rates or resin prices that could influence landed costs in India.
