Key Responsibilities Areas : Management Information System (MIS) Support: Assist in developing and maintaining MIS reports and dashboards. Gather and compile data from various sources to generate regular and ad hoc reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate information. Ensure data quality and integrity in the MIS by conducting regular data validation checks. Analyzing existing operations, protocols, and processes, and making plans for improvement. Identifying opportunities to improve the decision making process and overall performance of the organization. Collaborate with various stakeholders such as department heads, managers and external vendors to gather requirements, understand business needs. Foster effective communication and collaboration to support data sharing. Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter financial data into the appropriate systems, software, databases, or spreadsheets. Perform regular data validation checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the entered data. Organize and maintain financial records and documents in an organized and easily accessible manner. Assist in developing and implementing data management procedures to streamline processes. Finance Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and generate reports using spreadsheets or other relevant software. Identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in financial data, and communicate findings to the appropriate stakeholders. Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, as required. Collaborate with the finance team to interpret and present financial data in a clear and concise manner. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in data entry, data management, and MIS reporting. Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy and efficiency. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to finance and MIS. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of finance concepts, including financial statements, budgets, and forecasting. Proficient in data entry and management techniques, with excellent attention to detail. Solid understanding of MS Excel and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with management information systems (MIS) and their applications in a business setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
