Engineer development driven accurate tool designer Job Description Who You Are: Conceptual and Detailed Design: You will develop innovative and robust tool designs using advanced CAD software, ensuring compliance with product specifications and process requirements. DFM and Optimization: You'll conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews, performing flow, stress, or cooling analysis to optimize tool performance, reduce cycle time, and ensure component quality. Tool Development Oversight: You will manage the execution of the tool development cycle, collaborating closely with the Tool Room or external vendors during fabrication, assembly, and initial trials. Validation and Commissioning: You are responsible for conducting rigorous tool trials, analyzing the resulting component dimensions, and making necessary design modifications to achieve final approval and successful production handover. Standardization and Documentation: You will create and maintain all necessary technical documentation, including detailed tool drawings, part specifications, BOMs, and maintenance manuals.
