Noida: In a grand celebration of skill development and innovation, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) Skill Development Committee joined hands with the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) and the Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) to mark the occasion of World Youth Skill Day. The event, held at the prestigious AAFT campus, showcased the institution’s pioneering efforts in skill development and its pivotal role in shaping the future of the country’s education landscape. Established as the oldest skill development college in the nation, AAFT’s illustrious journey has been recognized globally, serving as a compelling case study in 27 countries across the world. Furthermore, the institution’s groundbreaking initiatives have earned it a place of distinction within India’s New Education Policy, a testament to its visionary approach to education. Speaking passionately about the institution’s accomplishments, Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and AAFT, addressed an enthusiastic gathering of students. “Our achievements reflect the essence of the New Education Policy, propelling us to the forefront of educational innovation and redefining the boundaries of learning,” Marwah stated. He emphasized AAFT’s commitment to pioneering new paradigms of education, pushing the envelope of conventional thinking and embracing a future-oriented approach. A noteworthy highlight of the event was the felicitation of AAFT with the prestigious title of “Centre of Excellence” by the Media and Entertainment Skill Development Council, an esteemed body under the Ministry of Skill Development. This accolade serves as a fitting recognition of AAFT’s three decades of unparalleled contributions to skill development, bringing to the forefront its unique and creative endeavors that consistently challenge conventional norms.
