Stay with Our Workforce as a Fresher MIG Welder Job Description Are you a skilled and experienced MIG Welder based in Chennai with a strong understanding of welding techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality welds? Utilise your MIG welding skills to join our well-established fabrication team at our Chennai-based company and produce and assemble metal components in accordance with specifications and designs. Your welding abilities are well appreciated in our steady, growth-oriented workplace. Responsibilities: Apply MIG welding to a variety of metals (such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminium) in a range of orientations (overhead, vertical, horizontal, and flat). Accurately read and understand welding symbols, engineering drawings, and blueprints. To obtain the desired finish and eliminate flaws, grind and clean the welds. Keep welding equipment safe and in good operating condition by carrying out necessary basic maintenance. Keep your workspace neat and orderly. Take part in training courses to improve your knowledge and proficiency with welding. Qualification: Proficient in MIG welding techniques and procedures for various metals and thicknesses. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols accurately. Knowledge of different welding consumables and their applications. Skill in setting up and operating MIG welding equipment safely and effectively.
