What you will do: overseeing the cycles of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), making sure that invoices are processed accurately, vendors are paid on schedule, and outstanding customer amounts are efficiently collected. completing journal entries, ledger postings, and bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis to guarantee the General Ledger (GL) is correct and current. doing basic variance analysis and helping to prepare monthly financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements. handling petty cash, processing employee expenditure reports, and assisting with inventory assessment as needed.
