Production Engineer Expanding Position in Plant Operations Job Description Who You Are: Process Optimisation: Using techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, you will examine current manufacturing workflows to find bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Capacity Planning & Layout: To optimise production capacity and material flow, you will create and execute effective factory layouts, plans for the use of equipment, and work instructions. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: In order to reduce downtime, you will promptly diagnose and fix machine and process problems while offering the production line technical support. Quality Integration: To ensure consistent product quality, you will work closely with the Quality team to monitor key process indicators and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC). Cost Reduction & Standardisation: You will create and uphold standardised operating procedures while consistently looking for methods to cut operational, scrap, and rework expenses.
