Seeking Immediately for CNC Setter with Prior Experience Job Description The CNC Setter will be responsible for setting up and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality control. Responsibilities Configure and run CNC machines (such as those for milling, turning, etc.) in accordance with engineering specifications and drawings. Workpieces should be loaded and unloaded with careful alignment and secure fixturing. Install and modify cutting instruments, such as inserts, drills, and end mills. As necessary, make program modifications and tool offsets. Use measuring devices to confirm measurements and tolerances. Skills: demonstrated expertise in a CNC setting position or a related one. strong knowledge of the concepts and procedures of CNC machining. ability to read and comprehend technical requirements and drawings. Capacity to use measurement tools, such as gauges, micrometres, and callipers. familiarity with program modifications and tool offsets.
