The process of extraditing Mumbai terror attack mastermind Tahawwur Rana from America has intensified. According to the information received, a special team of intelligence and investigation officers will bring him to India by tomorrow morning. As per the recommendation given by the US court, security has been increased in two jails of Delhi and Mumbai. Tahawwur Rana had filed a petition in the US Supreme Court, in which he had appealed not to extradite himself to India. However, his petition was rejected by the court. After which he is now being brought to India. According to information given by government sources, after Rana's arrival in India, he will be kept in the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for the initial weeks of interrogation and investigation.  | |
