Understand New Potential as a Talented CNC Programmer Job Description Are you a proficient CNC programmer from Chennai who is passionate about developing precise and effective machining programs that promote high-quality output? Become a member of our advanced manufacturing team in Chennai and help transform engineering blueprints into accurate CNC programs for our machining facilities. Your programming knowledge has a direct impact on our production efficiency and the calibre of our manufactured components in our demanding and fulfilling work environment. Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC programs for various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and potentially multi-axis machines, based on engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models to determine machining requirements, tooling, and cutting parameters. Maintain accurate and organized program documentation, tooling lists, and setup instructions. Continuously improve CNC programming techniques and processes to reduce cycle times, minimize material waste, and enhance part quality. Assist in the setup and prove-out of new CNC programs on the machines. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC machining technology, tooling, and programming software. Qualification: Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and machining principles. Proficiency in using one or more industry-standard CAD/CAM software packages Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and blueprints.
