Walk in Interview HMC Operator Jobs for Freshers Job Description Responsibilities Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications within our Chennai facility. CNC Program Execution: Load and execute CNC programs, making necessary adjustments within the operator's scope to ensure efficient and accurate machining. Workpiece Handling & Fixturing: Load and unload workpieces, ensuring proper alignment and secure fixturing on the HMC table, considering the weight and size of materials common in our Chennai operations. Tool Management: Install, adjust, and change cutting tools as required for different machining operations, including understanding tool wear and reporting replacement needs. Offsetting & Adjustments: Perform tool offsets and make minor program adjustments under supervision or as trained to maintain dimensional accuracy. Skills CNC Fundamentals: Basic understanding of CNC machining principles and G-code. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications relevant to machining in Chennai. Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with various cutting tools used in horizontal machining operations.
