Junior E&I Technician Suitable for freshmen Job Description Primary Task: To install, maintain, diagnose, and fix electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems and equipment in our Chennai facility while making sure they run safely and effectively. Responsibilities Perform cable termination, glanding, and tagging accurately and as per standards. Install and configure various electrical and instrumentation devices, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, motors, and control panels. Repair or replace faulty electrical and instrumentation components. Assist in identifying root causes of equipment failures. Assist in the commissioning and startup of new E&I systems Understand and follow technical manuals and specifications. Required Abilities: Proficiency in using various electrical and instrumentation testing equipment and hand tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and P&IDs. Knowledge of relevant Indian and international electrical and instrumentation codes and standards (e.g., IS, IEC). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
