Experienced BMS Operator Facilities Management Job Description Responsibilities Real-time Monitoring: Continuously monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for all connected systems within our Chennai facility. Alarm Management: Respond promptly and effectively to alarms generated by the BMS, identifying the cause and taking appropriate initial actions according to established protocols in Chennai. System Adjustment: Make necessary adjustments to building systems via the BMS interface to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort, considering the local climate in Chennai. Trend Analysis: Analyze historical and real-time trend data to identify potential issues, inefficiencies, or areas for optimization within the building systems. Reporting: Generate regular reports on system performance, energy consumption, and alarm history as required by the facility management team in Chennai. Skills Understanding of Building Systems: Basic knowledge of HVAC, lighting, electrical, and other building systems controlled by a BMS. Alarm Handling: Ability to interpret and respond effectively to BMS alarms. Data Monitoring & Analysis: Basic skills in monitoring system parameters and identifying trends. Report Generation: Ability to generate basic reports from the BMS.
