Maximise Your Expertise as a Manual Software Tester Job Description Your Impact: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Chennai. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through systematic testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products Key Responsibilities: Understand and analyze software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Execute test cases (functional, integration, system, regression) manually and record test results accurately. Participate in test planning meetings and provide input on test scope and timelines. Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand software functionality and resolve defects. Prepare test data and test environments as needed. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. What you Need: Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation. Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
