Experience Is vital Opening VMC Setter Post Job Description Responsibilities In our manufacturing plant in Chennai, set up Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) for machining operations in accordance with task orders, drawings, and setup sheets. To guarantee effective machining, troubleshoot setup-related problems and make the required adjustments. Make sure the equipment in Chennai has the tools and supplies needed for the tasks at hand. Ensure that the workspaces surrounding the VMCs are tidy and orderly. Follow our Chennai maintenance plan while performing routine VMC maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication. Skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and setup sheets relevant to machining in Chennai. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) for setup verification. Knowledge of various workholding devices and their proper application. Familiarity with different cutting tools and their correct mounting procedures.
