Sr. Engineer Required Paintshop Equipment & Maintenance Job Description Responsibilities Lead and manage all maintenance activities within the paint shop of our manufacturing facility in Chennai, ensuring optimal uptime, quality, and safety. Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues within the paint shop, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient production flow in Chennai. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades within the Chennai paint shop. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety standards relevant to paint shop operations in Tamil Nadu and India. Lead the implementation of new paint shop equipment and technologies, overseeing installation, commissioning, and training of maintenance personnel in Chennai. Skills Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising and developing maintenance technicians. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems within a paint shop. Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and their application in a paint shop.
