BDGE prices have witnessed a significant decline in the Mumbai chemical market, which is quite a departure from the stability witnessed in the recent past. The price of BDGE has fallen by Rs 2 from Rs.147/kg recorded on April 23, 2025 to Rs 145/kg today, April 30, 2025. According to market sources, this price correction is primarily due to the sudden increase in supplies by domestic distributors, resulting in excess availability of the product in the market. Adding to the pressure, imported BDGE is being offered at comparatively lower rates, forcing domestic producers to reduce their prices to remain competitive. Industry experts suggest that though this decline may seem sharp, it is likely to be temporary.
