Interviewing freshmen for the AR Analyst Jobs Job Description Primary Task: To conduct in-depth analysis of Accounts Receivable (AR) data within our Chennai medical billing operations, identify trends, develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates, reduce aging, and optimize the revenue cycle for healthcare providers. Responsibilities Analyze large volumes of AR data, including aging reports, denial patterns, payment trends, and payer performance metrics specific to the Indian healthcare system and payers relevant to our Chennai operations. Collaborate with the AR Calling team and other billing functions to execute these strategies effectively. Work with coding, charge entry, and other relevant teams to implement these preventative measures. Develop strategies to address issues with specific payers, such as escalation processes or focused follow-up efforts. Collaborate with IT and billing system administrators to investigate and resolve these issues. Ensure AR analysis and strategies comply with these regulations. Required Abilities: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Excel, SQL, business intelligence platforms). In-depth understanding of the medical billing cycle, claim adjudication processes, and denial reasons specific to Indian payers. Experience in identifying and resolving AR issues and developing effective collection strategies within the Indian context.
