Require an AutoCAD Designer to Set Up Your Career Job Description Primary Task: To use AutoCAD Mechanical software to create and edit intricate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models, guaranteeing precision and standard compliance while helping to design and build mechanical systems and components for our Chennai operations. Responsibilities Create detailed 2D mechanical drawings, layouts, and assemblies using AutoCAD Mechanical software, adhering to relevant industry standards (e.g., BIS, ISO) and company drafting standards prevalent in Chennai. Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) within AutoCAD Mechanical, ensuring accurate component lists and quantities. Assist in the creation and maintenance of custom library parts as needed. Participate in design reviews and offer technical insights. Maintain consistency and accuracy across all drafting work Required Abilities: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, terminology, and concepts relevant to manufacturing in Chennai. Good knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications accurately. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
