AGM QA Safety Leader Position Now Recruiting Job Description Primary Task: To oversee and direct the Quality Assurance (QA) division of our Chennai-based manufacturing operations, guaranteeing the establishment and upkeep of strong quality management systems, promoting ongoing development, guaranteeing that the quality of the products satisfies the highest standards, and cultivating a culture of quality across the Chennai plant. Responsibilities Encourage a proactive and quality-focused culture throughout the manufacturing process by giving the Chennai QA team strong leadership and guidance. Oversee and grow the QA team in Chennai, including hiring, educating the local team on pertinent quality standards and techniques, managing performance, and encouraging professional development. Ensure compliance and promote ongoing improvement based on audit findings by supervising internal and external audits carried out at the Chennai plant. Make that the Chennai QA department's testing and inspection tools are used and maintained correctly. Create and deliver thorough QA reports that highlight quality performance, trends, and improvement plans to Chennai's senior management. Required Abilities: Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and CAPA. Proven experience in leading and managing a QA team in a manufacturing environment in Chennai. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
