Looking Competent and Veteran CNC Programmers Job Description Responsibilities Utilising engineering drawings, 3D models, and part specifications, create, design, and optimise CNC programs for a range of CNC machines. To create toolpaths, model machining operations, and confirm program accuracy, use CAD/CAM software. To attain the required level of part quality, surface polish, and production efficiency, choose the right cutting tools, holders, workholding devices, and machining techniques. Based on the type of material, the choice of tool, and the machine's capabilities, determine the ideal cutting parameters (feeds, speeds, and depth of cut). To create machine-specific G-code and M-code, post-process CAM programs. To identify possible collisions, assess cycle times, and guarantee safe and effective machining processes, run thorough program simulations. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing programs and troubleshooting machining issues. Good communication skills in English and preferably Tamil for effective collaboration with the Chennai team. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality programs.
