Precision, respect to safety regulations, and the capacity to create strong, long-lasting welds in accordance with drawings and specifications are necessary for this position. The ideal applicant will be highly committed to quality and safety, hold required certifications, and have demonstrated experience. Key Responsibilities: To guarantee correct fusing and penetration, clean, grind, or bevele welding surfaces. For small fabrication and fit-up jobs, use power and hand tools. Before moving on to the next phase or final inspection, conduct a basic self-inspection to guarantee quality. Notify the supervisor of any equipment issues or maintenance requirements. To avoid fume exposure, make sure the welding area has enough ventilation. Keep your workspace neat and orderly. What you Need: Familiarity with various welding positions and joint types. Competence in using precision measuring instruments. Basic knowledge of different metal types and their weldability characteristics.
