For a critical position in our New Product Development (NPD) Department, we are looking for a very driven and talented Assistant Manager. Leading intricate product development projects, becoming an expert in plastics design and manufacturing, and directly influencing the future product line are all made possible by this fascinating role. Roles and Responsibilities: You will oversee new product development projects as an Assistant Manager at NPD, which is headquartered in Chennai. This includes ideation and concept validation, design, prototyping, testing, tooling development, and a successful production launch. Working cross-functionally with teams from R&D, Design, Tooling, Production, Quality, Sales, and Marketing, you will make sure that products satisfy cost goals, quality standards, and market demands. Deep technical understanding of injection moulding procedures, excellent project management abilities, and the capacity to spur innovation while staying within budget and schedule constraints are all requirements for this position. Bringing innovative plastic items to market will be made possible in large part by you. Skills: Experience with various thermoplastic materials and their properties. Proficiency in 3D CAD software for reviewing designs and technical drawings. Familiarity with DFM and DFA principles.
