Indian Petrocherm analysts present at Mumbai have reported a cut into Benzene (Domestic repack) prices. It is a component of petroleum and is extracted from refinery streams like reformate and pyrolysis gasoline (pygas). Additionally, benzene can be obtained as a byproduct of coke production in steel plants, although this is a less significant source today. Benzene is a versatile chemical compound with many industrial uses, primarily as a solvent and as a building block for other chemicals. It's a key component in the production of plastics, resins, synthetic fibers, rubber, lubricants, dyes, detergents, drugs, and pesticides. It's also used in gasoline and other fuels. Several Indian companies produce benzene, a key petrochemical. Reliance Industries Limited, Haldia Petrochemicals, and Vizag Chemical are among the notable producers. Other companies like Bodal Chemicals also participate in the benzene value chain through the production of benzene derivatives,Benzene Prices In India, indian Benzene Prices, indianpetrochem. #BenzenePricesInIndia #Indianpetrochem | |
