Immediate Hiring For Maintenance Head – Manufacturing Industry Job Description : Job Title: Maintenance Head – Manufacturing Industry Location: Chennai Experience: 10 – 12 Years Qualification: B.E / B.Tech Shift: General Shift (9 AM – 6 PM) Salary Range: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000/month (Negotiable for the right candidate) Week Off: Sunday Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Maintenance Head with strong leadership skills and technical knowledge to lead the entire maintenance function in a fast-paced manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing machine maintenance, utilities, preventive maintenance schedules, and a team of technicians/engineers. Key Responsibilities: Oversee overall maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. Develop and execute preventive & predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Lead a team of technicians, assign tasks, and monitor day-to-day maintenance work. Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns on CNC machines, compressors, hydraulics, and other production equipment. Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards. Coordinate with the production team to align maintenance activities with production schedules. Maintain detailed records of breakdowns, repairs, spares, and equipment history. Ensure optimum spare parts inventory management. Lead annual maintenance audits and implement corrective actions. Evaluate performance of machines and initiate process improvements or upgrades. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of CNC, VMC, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Utility Systems Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings Proficient in preventive and predictive maintenance planning Experience in handling breakdown analysis and root cause correction Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills Familiarity with ISO/TPM/5S/Lean Manufacturing practices Basic knowledge of PLC/Automation systems is an added advantage Good communication and reporting skills Performance Metrics: Reduction in unplanned downtime Preventive maintenance compliance rate Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) Equipment availability and reliability scores Cost-saving initiatives in maintenance operations Call to Action: Apply Now or Call HR for Interview Scheduling Sofia HR 8220184451 | |
