DG Operator Wanted – Keep the Power Flowing! Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled DG Operator to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of diesel generator sets within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted power supply by operating DG sets efficiently during power outages or scheduled usage. This role requires someone with hands-on experience in managing generator systems, performing routine checks, and identifying issues before they become critical. The DG Operator will conduct regular inspections to monitor the health of the generators, including checking oil levels, fuel, coolant, and battery status. They will also be expected to maintain accurate operational records, perform basic troubleshooting, and report any major faults to the maintenance team promptly. Ensuring adherence to safety procedures while working with electrical and mechanical systems is a key aspect of the role. Candidates should possess an ITI or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 1 to 3 years of experience in DG operations. Familiarity with generator controls, power systems, and preventive maintenance practices is essential. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts or be available on call is required for this role.
