Setup & Tooling: Assist with the setup of VMC machines, including mounting and aligning workpieces, selecting cutting tools, and making minor adjustments. Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to understand part dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements. Measurement & Inspection: Perform in-process and final inspection of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and verniers to ensure they meet specified tolerances. Quality Control: Continuously monitor machine operations and part quality. Identify and report any defects, machine malfunctions, or deviations from quality standards to the supervisor.
