Kickstart Your Career in CNC/VMC Setter in Chennai for 10th/12th Candidates Job Title: CNC/VMC Setter Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job Type: Full-time (Rotational Shifts) Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass (ITI or Diploma preferred, but not mandatory) Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000/month (Depending on skills & shift) + OT + PF + ESI Job Description: We are looking for motivated individuals to work as CNC/VMC Setters in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting tools, fixtures, and offsets on CNC/VMC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production of precision components. Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC or VMC machines by installing tools, jigs, and fixtures Adjust machine settings and offsets based on job specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions Perform trial runs and make corrections to ensure quality output Inspect parts using measuring tools like vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges Coordinate with the operator to maintain continuous production Follow safety and housekeeping standards in the shop floor Required Skills: Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations Ability to read mechanical drawings (2D) Familiar with measurement tools and setting tools/fixtures Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Willingness to learn and adapt to shop-floor practices Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets Qualification: Minimum: 10th or 12th Pass Preferred: ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist) or Diploma (Mechanical) Freshers with strong interest or basic experience in machining can apply Benefits: PF, ESI, Overtime pay Food and transport Hands-on training and career growth to Programmer or QC Inspector roles Exposure to CNC programming and CAD/CAM systems over time "Interested?
