Join Our Finance Team as an AR Analyst – Drive Revenue Accuracy & Growth Job Title: AR Analyst Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job Type: Full-Time Department: Finance & Accounting Experience: 1 to 5 Years Qualification: B.Com / BBA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related field Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage, monitor, and improve the receivables process in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking incoming payments, resolving customer billing issues, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. This position plays a critical role in supporting cash flow and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor accounts receivable portfolio and follow up on outstanding invoices Post customer payments accurately to the ledger and reconcile discrepancies Conduct customer account analysis to identify delays or disputes Maintain audit-ready documentation of receivable transactions Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially AR and general ledger Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.) Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers and cross-functional teams Knowledge of collections, dispute resolution, and cash application Educational Qualification: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / BBA) Preferred: Master’s in Finance or MBA (Finance), M.Com Candidates with AR certification or accounting software experience preferred Experience: Experienced: 1 to 5 years in AR, cash application, collections, or revenue accounting roles Benefits: Competitive salary package (as per industry standards) Provident Fund (PF), ESI, Gratuity, and medical benefits Work-life balance with rotational or general shift On-the-job training and learning opportunities Career growth to roles like AR Lead, Team Lead – Finance, or Revenue Analyst Regards, Sofia HR, 8220184451 | |
