CNC Setter Job Opportunity In Chennai Job Description – CNC Setter Position: CNC Setter – Lathe / VMC Machine Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience) Experience: 1–3 years preferred Education: ITI / Diploma / Any relevant technical qualification Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC Lathe or VMC machines as per job requirements. Load tools and parts, set tool offsets and machine parameters. Interpret engineering drawings and job sheets. Ensure proper alignment and clamping of components. Conduct in-process quality checks using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.). Maintain machine cleanliness and daily maintenance checks. Work with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operation. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of CNC setting (Turning / Milling / VMC). Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Familiarity with G & M codes and tool wear adjustment. Knowledge of basic quality instruments. Willing to work in rotational shifts.
