Looking for a Safety Officer to drive safety programs. Job Title: Safety Officer – Manufacturing Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2 to 5 Years in Manufacturing Safety Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field Salary: Negotiable Job Summary: Responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols within the manufacturing facility to ensure a safe work environment, regulatory compliance, and accident prevention. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies specific to manufacturing processes. Conduct regular safety audits and workplace inspections on the shop floor. Identify hazards related to machinery, chemicals, and work processes; recommend corrective actions. Investigate workplace incidents and accidents; prepare detailed reports and suggest preventive measures. Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for manufacturing staff. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and local manufacturing safety regulations. Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records. Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address safety concerns. Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and regulations. Strong risk assessment and hazard identification skills. Effective communication and training abilities. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
