Maintenance Engineer Jobs in Manufacturing Company | Chennai | Apply Now Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial / Engineering Salary : Negotiable Location: Chennai Experience: 2 to 6 years (in plant or machinery maintenance) Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Days: Monday to Saturday Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines, utilities, and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults in production equipment Maintain and update maintenance logs, checklists, and reports Ensure minimum downtime and quick resolution of breakdowns Coordinate with production, quality, and safety departments Manage spare parts inventory and procurement Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures Support installation and commissioning of new machines Required Skills: Knowledge of CNC, VMC, hydraulic presses, compressors, motors Understanding of PLC basics is a plus Ability to read machine manuals and wiring diagrams Strong problem-solving and communication skills Familiarity with TPM, 5S, or ISO maintenance practices preferred Regards , Sofia HR , 8220184451 | |
