Kickstart Your Leadership Journey – Head of Quality Control Location: Chennai Experience: 8 to 10 years Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field Pay: 70k to 80k per month Job Description: The Head of the Quality Control Department is responsible for overseeing and managing all quality control activities to ensure that products and processes meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves leading a team of quality engineers/inspectors, developing quality strategies, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the Quality Control department and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and inspectors. Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures, standards, and policies. Ensure compliance with ISO, regulatory, and customer-specific quality requirements. Review inspection reports and data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with production, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues. Approve testing methods, inspection plans, and calibration of instruments. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
