Step Into Your Career – Turner Technician Role Job Description We are looking for a skilled Turner Technician to operate and maintain lathe machines for precision turning operations. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality components as per engineering drawings, maintaining accuracy in dimensions, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires hands-on technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Roles and Responsibilities Operate and set up lathe machines for turning operations. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders. Perform cutting, drilling, threading, boring, facing, and other turning tasks. Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ensure quality standards are met and minimize material wastage. Required Skills Proficiency in operating manual and CNC lathes (if applicable). Strong knowledge of machining processes and tools. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Good problem-solving and precision measurement skills. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
