BDO Prices in India | |
1,4-Butanediol (BDO) prices have once again shifted in the Mumbai chemical market, as reported by Indian Petrochem analysts. After showing a rising trend last week, the market has now recorded a decline. According to Indianpetrochem’s latest update, BDO prices dropped by Rs.3/kg, settling at Rs.172/kg today, compared to Rs.175/kg on August 30, 2025. This marks a fresh shift in pricing dynamics in the Mumbai market. Several industrial factors are driving this decline. India lacks significant domestic producers of BDO and remains largely dependent on imports from China and Japan, as highlighted by Indianpetrochem analysts. BDO holds wide-ranging applications — it is extensively used as a solvent, in the production of plastics, elastic fibers, and polyurethane, and also in formulations such as floor strippers and paint thinners. The recent fall in BDO prices is mainly attributed to lower raw material costs overseas, which have reduced production and import prices. As per Indianpetrochem, this downward trend is now reflecting in the Indian domestic market, BDO Prices in India, Indian BDO Prices, Indian Prices BDO, Indianpetrochem. #BDOpricesinIndia #IndianBDOprices #IndianPricesBDO #Indianpetrochem | |
