Location: Chennai Experience: 6 to 8 years Salary: Above 60k per month Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Paintshop Maintenance Head to lead and manage all maintenance activities within the paintshop. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and maintain high-quality standards by overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, managing resources, and implementing process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure the paintshop machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and safely. Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime and production interruptions. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in paintshop systems and resolve them promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance operations. Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve paintshop efficiency, throughput, and product quality. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in maintenance management within paintshops, automotive, or heavy manufacturing environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of paintshop equipment such as spray booths, ovens, conveyors, and robotics. Familiarity with safety standards, quality systems, and maintenance software (CMMS).
