The role involves setting up, programming, and operating machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. Job Title: CNC / VMC / Turn Mill Setter (4 Vacancies) Location: Chennai Experience: Minimum 2–3 Years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Job Type: Full-time Shift: Day & Night Shifts (Preferred) Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month Benefits: Free Food, PF Key Responsibilities: Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per engineering specifications. Load, edit, and run CNC programs; perform manual programming when required. Operate machines and monitor production for accuracy and efficiency. Perform first-piece inspections and quality checks using precision measuring tools. Troubleshoot machine errors, programming issues, and tooling problems. Carry out routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of machines. Maintain records of setups, output, and maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards. Required Skills: Proven experience as a CNC/VMC Operator or Setter. Strong blueprint and G-code interpretation skills. Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges, etc.). Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and precision.
