Make outbound calls to insurance companies to follow up on pending claims. Verify the status of submitted claims and ensure timely payment. Identify and resolve issues related to claim denials or rejections. Document all interactions and updates accurately in the billing system. Coordinate with the billing team to re-submit corrected claims. Ensure compliance with healthcare and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with insurance representatives and patients.
