ABS BEPL MIF45 PRICES SLIP IN MUMBAI
The Mumbai ABS market has recorded a decline in BEPL ABS Grade MIF45 prices during the past week. On 22 September 2025, the grade was trading at Rs.128 per kilogram, but by 30 September 2025, prices had fallen to Rs.124 per kilogram, reflecting a Rs.4 drop within 6 days, according to Indian Petrochem. Market participants highlighted that weak demand from automotive, consumer goods, and electrical sectors, along with steady supply, played a key role in the decline. Sources at Indian Petrochem further noted that the availability of lower-priced imported ABS added pressure on domestic prices. In addition, raw material costs for acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene have softened, which directly impacted ABS pricing trends. Indian Petrochem observed that traders are showing cautious buying behavior, delaying bulk purchases in anticipation of further corrections. Looking ahead, Indian Petrochem believes ABS prices may continue to face pressure in the short term unless demand from end-user industries shows a strong revival, ABS Prices in India, Indian ABS Prices, Indian Prices ABS, IndianPetrochem. #ABSpricesinIndia #IndianABSprices #IndianPricesABS #IndianPetrochem
