AutoCAD Design Engineer with Opportunity to Innovate Job Description Experience: 3+ yrs Salary: Based on Previous Experience Challenges: The manufacturing sector is rapidly entering a new era of smart factory integration, digital design, and simulation. Technical drawings alone will not enough in the future; highly precise, standardised 2D and 3D models that form the basis of automated production and quality assurance are also required. As a leader in this digital revolution, we want to use cutting-edge draughting tools to innovate more quickly and construct with unparalleled accuracy. What you will do: You will be in charge of using AutoCAD and associated draughting tools to create, edit, and manage intricate 2D and 3D technical drawings and layouts. Creating production-ready blueprints from engineering sketches and concepts, making sure all designs follow material and industry specifications, and maintaining an extensive technical documentation library are just a few of the duties you will be performing. Working closely with the Tool Room and Production teams, you will make sure that designs are optimised for manufacturing (DFM).
