VMC Programmer Craft a Career in Precision Programming Job Description Experience: 6 to 8 yrs Salary: Based on Previous Experience Education: Diploma/BE in Mech What You will do: Program Accurately: You will create and validate CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis VMC machines using CAM software. Optimise and Validate: To guarantee collision avoidance, ideal cutting speeds/feeds, and the most effective cycle times, you will perform program simulations and tool path verification. Create Fixtures and Tooling: You will create and define the cutting instruments, workholding devices, and specialised gauges needed for the machining operations. Collaborate for Quality: You will train VMC Operators on new programs and setup procedures and collaborate closely with the Design Engineering team to propose changes for Design for Manufacturability. Drive Continuous Improvement: To continuously hone and enhance current CNC programs and machining techniques, you will examine production data, scrap rates, and tooling wear.
