We are developing a workflow in which the VMC Setter serves as the master technician in charge of optimizing machine uptime and guaranteeing that each setup produces perfect components on the first try. Key Responsibilities: You will independently manage the setup process for VMCs. This includes interpreting technical drawings, mounting fixtures and vices accurately, selecting and installing the correct cutting tools, setting work and tool offsets, conducting trial runs, and making necessary fine adjustments to achieve required tolerances. You will be the sole owner of the machine's readiness and initial part quality, directly influencing production start times and scrap rates. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot setup issues quickly will have a direct and tangible impact on our company's success.
