Sr Engineer Optimize Assembly Processes for Peak Output Job Description Who You Are: Assembly Process Optimization: You will design, develop, and validate robust assembly processes and fixturing for new product introductions (NPI), utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize cycle time and material handling waste. Technical Troubleshooting: You'll serve as the lead technical expert for complex assembly issues, including fixture alignment problems, equipment failures, and component fit issues, implementing swift and permanent Root Cause Analysis (RCA) solutions. Automation & Equipment: You will evaluate, specify, and commission new assembly equipment, automation cells, and robotic systems, ensuring proper integration with post-moulding processes. Quality and Standardization: You are responsible for ensuring assembly processes consistently meet quality standards, creating and maintaining accurate Standard Operating Procedures, process flow charts, and detailed work instructions. Team Guidance: You will provide high-level technical guidance, mentorship, and training to Assembly Supervisors and Technicians, enhancing the team's ability to operate and maintain complex assembly stations.
