In order to attain world-class production yields and efficiency, the Senior SMT Engineer's function is growing into that of a major technical master and process owner who drives predictive maintenance, utilises statistical process control (SPC), and optimises machine programming. Desired Outcomes: You will be in charge of overseeing equipment optimisation, new product introduction (NPI) setup, and intricate SMT process enhancements. Your proficiency with sophisticated SMT equipment programming, in-depth understanding of solder paste technology and reflow profiles, and demonstrated capacity to do Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on soldering flaws will be essential. In order to maximise OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and minimise defect rates, which have a direct impact on product reliability and manufacturing costs, you will coach junior engineers and technicians, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
