Technical Authority and Optimisation: To ensure tool and product quality, you will carry out rigorous tolerance stack-up analysis, advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for stress and thermal performance, and high-level Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessments. Mentorship and Standardisation: You will provide comprehensive design standards and specifications for all tooling assets, establish standardised tool design procedures, and offer junior engineers technical mentorship and assistance. Continuous Improvement (CI): To maximise uptime and longevity, you will utilise Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies to eliminate recurrent tool failure mechanisms and analyse field performance data and production concerns to drive significant tool modification projects.
