In order to achieve continual improvements and perfect first-pass yields on high-density interconnect (HDI) boards, the future requires Senior SMT Engineers who are process masters, capable of utilising automated equipment, optimising thermal profiles, and utilising real-time data. Our goal is to produce sophisticated electronics with unparalleled efficiency and quality. What you will do: To obtain high yields on fine-pitch and BGA components, all SMT processes, including as solder paste printing, component placement programming, and reflow oven profiling, must be developed, documented, and optimised. overseeing the technical configuration and programming of advanced SMT machinery, guaranteeing excellent precision and quick changeover times. putting into practice efficient Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and performing root cause analysis (RCA) on all SMT problems. utilising Lean or Six Sigma approaches to lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance OEE, decrease material usage, and decrease defects (PPM). mentoring and instructing less experienced technicians and operators in process control, quality assurance, and machine operating best practices.
