Deputy Manager Engineering Reliable Management Options Job Description Who You Are: Operational Management: You will supervise day-to-day moulding operations, making sure that production schedules are fulfilled in terms of Quantity, Quality, and Efficiency (OEE) and quickly resolving important material, resource, and technical bottlenecks. Process Excellence & Improvement: To optimise moulding parameters, lower scrap rates, and improve machine utilisation, you will support continuous improvement initiatives using approaches like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Technical Oversight: To guarantee process stability and part quality, you will give Process Engineers and Technicians high-level technical advice on complicated problems pertaining to tooling, material properties, hot runners, and machinery troubleshooting. Team Development & Leadership: In order to promote a culture of safety, accountability, technical proficiency, and high performance within the moulding department, you are in charge of coaching, supervising, and mentoring supervisors and team leads. Cost Control & Reporting: You will actively monitor operational costs, control variances (scrap, utility consumption, labor), and generate detailed performance reports for senior management, providing actionable insights for profitability improvement.
